Seriously people, get a grip. He’s made money, the hard way, by working for it, and he’s ultimately proud of his wealth.

Agreed:
-His taste sucks, but that’s a matter of opinion
-He’s building this mansion amidst all the slums in Bombay
-He’s wealthy and showing it off – why not, I would
-He’s creating jobs for builders of the mansion and for the 600 people who will work there later on, just dumping back into the economy

Disagree:
-He’s greedy, sh*t, its his money, how many of you donate your salary to charity?
-He acquired his money illegally, he and his father have worked hard for what they have today.

A couple other points:
-China spent a grip of money on the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics, are they still getting ROI from that?
-Think about what you would do if you had that kind of money? Donate it? Use it for charitable causes? We all ask what rich people do for others, middle class, what the F do you do for charity?

Im all for building whatever you want with what you work to get…but does he do any kind of charity work, public service, humanitarian relief(monetary or hands on), or anything to help others in his country that might not be ABLE to help themselves?

That is His money and he can do whatever he wants to do with that. He must be donating to poor, orphanages, hospitals, nobody knows. He worked hard ( his dad too ) and he is repeaing benefit of that. It is very simple.

I do not understand why people are even commenting here, are they giving excuses not to have lot of money to avoid such things. People wake up, what you would do if you have that much money, I am sure that point you even would not think about helping poor and all.

He might be donating money ,but he doesn’t want to show off.that’s his money and who the hell are we judging or talking about his business. F****** look at your face in the mirror and think about your self that how much money have u donated in your whole life. Don’t blame on rich people, if they are rich then they will had hard time to become a rich…I would say all who have commented up here they might make 10,000 to 70,000 rs a month i guess, so if you have worry about poor people then let’s do donate money 500 rs a month. don’t just fuck around everyone love their own money.. If you having so much problem then y dont u all sell ur computer and shit nd still living in some village near the boarder.. would u do that ?? huh?? the house is ok inside…. doesn’t look like a billion dollar house to me….i think it’s a stupid investment…. i mean, if he had to sell it, who in their right mind would purchase a 1 billion dollar house in India, of all places??? no disrespect to the Indians, but there’s no way i would spend even a million dollars on property there…….

How come none of his interviewers ever ask him about charity? Would his life be miserable if he gives away a billion dollars of his wealth? Would the thought of those million smiling kids he feeds thru that donation, haunt him for the rest of his life?
