The again, I made my money the hard way ... Juan made it the easy way. It's simple: You have to LEARN how to be rich, otherwise you will have no idea how to STAY rich. My friends ask me what keeps me going now that I have retired; my blog (which is about teaching people how to get rich and stay rich) is just one of the things that I do to stay busy ... give back and your life will have purpose. My hero is Warren Buffett. Here's someone who is a multi-billionaire who drives a used car and lives in the same home he lived in when he was just starting out. He learned that money is a "tool" to be used to better people's lives. Win the Lotto? Sure, it certainly would allow us to give our family members some education and investment options and allows us to expand our charitable giving in a big way but, with the guidance of professionals. The mistake is made when one thinks they know how to be a millionaire when they were low or middle income all their life.
