Working for Money is Dead
It is only appropriate that the first story in this site is about Rich Dad. The book is a refreshingly original insight to the truth about money. It’s okay to have a job but realize that it is the lowest form of income.
The problem with having a job is that if you don’t work, you don’t make any money. But the truth about money is that it operates best within systems. An example of a system is compound interest. Over time you savings grow exponentially because of the system of exponential growth.
The same is true of making money and a job is the worst system to use to make it. In my day job I’m a computer programmer. The goal of a business computer program is to minimize the effort required to accomplish tasks. The same should be true of earning a living. The more manual effort required the less valuable and more risky the system is.
